As soon as we arrived we were taken immediately back to see the doctor. In a matter of minutes the amazing ER doctor that attending to my son suspected appendicitis. Turns out it was ruptured. He had surgery that night. The OR and recovery room teams were great with my child. They even prayed with him right before surgery. He was admitted for 10 days. We were treated so well by all the nurses and healthcare staff on The 3rd floor. Thank you Dr. Ummer - Pediatrician, Lauren- Surgical PA , Comfort and Maria-RN’s, Erik and Christina- OT and PT. The hospital Chaplin’s who prayed over us. Literally every nurse, PA, NP that cared for my child was so sweet. Thank you all for your amazing bedside manners and genuine love for your patients.

Katastrophe

My son had to stay for three days, one of those days being Christmas. He was treated very well, and the nurses and staff were all very nice and sweet toward him. They made him feel at ease during a very difficult time for us.

I brought my son here once after he slipped getting out of the bathtub and received a minor laceration on the back of his head, he needed a staple. The wait time was minimal and the staff did a great job. My only complaint was the amount of time it took to discharge us after we were clear to go, we were waiting for so long we almost walked out. The follow up appointment to take the staple out was quick and easy. Definitely recommend this children’s hospital.

We went twice and they took 40 min just for registration. And that’s because We were the only ones waiting. Then they took even longer to check my daughter once we got taken inside. The care itself was good. No complaints there. Just waiting times suck even though there’s no one else there.

My son was there back in January of 2020 and spent a week in the Pediatric ICU for respiratory issues and both the Doctors and nurses were excellent. Thank you all for your support, thank you Dr. Bista for your attention.
