It's very well positioned and makes for an easy and convenient boarding especially if you rode the ferry over. Nothing special inside just an older station probably last remodelled in the 70-80s. Small and quiet which is nice but can get crowded at peak time. Better off standing outside. We took the train to Vancouver BC which is a beautiful trip that winds along the Puget Sound then inland through Skagit Valley and back out to the water upto the delta as you pull into Vancouver station.

Great place to railfan at and get a ride on the Empire Builder.
Great place to view the model trains during the holidays. Wish they had a bigger space so they could run the trains all at once.
