I got the curry katsu. Curry was creamy and flavorful. Katsu was honestly the best I've had. Highly recommend!

Probably my new favorite restaurant. I try and make it there once a week if I can. The katsudon has quickly become a comfort food to me. I'm a person who has eaten katsudon at a ton of places. It used to be my go to food for lunchtime. This is by a wide margin, the best I've ever had. The meat is tender and the panko sticks to the cutlet perfectly. It's well worth the price.

Usually, the service and the food here are top shelf. For whatever reason this time they were way off. Table wasn't ready. Even though we made reservations, still had to wait over 20 minutes after our time. Our small dishes took some time to come out and setups were provided after wait staff realized this after food came. Wait staff was apologetic, but after their mix up, our main dishes hadn't even been started. That was the final straw. I want this place to thrive, but they need to get their act back together for in-person dining.

Always a great meal but it tastes even better when you dine in. Recommend the deluxe katsu set if you want to try a variety of options. Stick with the Filet Katsu if you want the most meat.

An authentic, excellent Tonkatsu place in San Diego. I can feel that they really care about meat, ingredients, fresh salads, and just everything - a bit on the higher price end, but definitely worth every penny!! Wish their business goes well and thrive so their quailty never changes.

Delicious food, nice staff, and a cozy environment. One of my new favorite spots - can’t recommend the potato croquettes enough!

First time here for lunch and won't be my last! Ordered the katsu sando and meatball katsu and both were pretty amazing!! The cutlet for both were surprisingly crispy and juicy. The katsu was dripping juice from the first bite! The bread is really soft and buttery and is sliced nice and thin! Glad I found this hidden gem in Clairemont. Definitely will come again to try their dinner menu!

Pretty overpriced but also pretty tasty. When I ordered my 23 entrée, it did not come with any sort of rice or miso which we had to pay for separately. Overall the food was great quality but I am still disappointed at the high prices.
