Some of the worst, most disorganized customer service and administration I’ve dealt with. If El Dorado water utility had any competition whatsoever, they would Be bankrupt within weeks, after El Dorado residence all moved over to the different water utility company. Moved away from El Dorado in June, And finally got my last bill for 54 at the beginning of September. Paid the bill, and it cleared my bank account on September 3. Today, October 26, I get a call from a collections agency for the 54 that I “still haven’t paid”. Now, I had to take a screenshot of the transaction from September 3, and forward it to the collection agency, so that it didn’t go against my credit. Just what I needed to waste my morning on. this is only one of numerous complaints that I have with El Dorado water utility.

Two days in a row their portal for payment online says unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. You work on your web-site at 9 AM in the morning ... two days in a row ... REALLY?! I get orange cut off cards when I KNOW I never got a regular billing notice. Then when I called their number I could not get through to a live person. They will wonder why I'm bothered in the drive-through as I pay my bill and they charge me extra for using my debit card. Nice people, but I've never seen a more poorly run utility when it comes time to pay your bill..
