After casually trying a few other local swim classes with mediocre results, my 4 year old daughter started semi-private lessons at Steve Wallen. We saw steady progress from the start and vast improvement over the course of several months. She immediately connected with her teachers (Keely then Rachael) and over the course of several months we learned that it wasn't just that we \got lucky\-- in fact every single teacher she had (in the occasional instance where regular teacher was unavailable) was excellent! The teachers are incredibly tuned into my daughter's abilities and use that to provide the perfect balance of encouragement and challenge, which is exactly what I hoping for when I signed her up for lessons. Steve Wallen has also been wonderful at working around scheduling, and everyone there is so friendly it's always a highlight of our day. Grateful to have found Steve Wallen and looking forward to enrolling my younger daughter soon!

We were super impressed! I was overly impressed with how fast they got back to be and explained everything. First time parent with babies first swim. We were put at ease and got to take pictures and encourage. Baby loved the lesson and the teacher did great explaining what to do. Baby couldn't wait for more swimming!

Alyssa and Erik have been amazing swim teacher. After 1 year with Erik my 4yo can swim without an issue. Alyssa has been amazing with my 2 yo helping him over his fears of swimming and he really enjoys his lessons now! This has been the best swim instruction experience for me and the kids. I would highly recommend Steve Wallen. Mr Steve is also there for any questions or concerns from the parents. He is very encouraging to parents and students.

Steve Wallen helped my daughter overcome her fear in a nice warm pool where she can swim all year. They helped her to not only overcome her fear but motivated her to reach next levels in swimming.They were great with her and always answered all of our questions.
