It’s a great experience, the ship is really cool, and the ambiance in the shop is very family friendly (before 7pm after it’s a party boat) the captain is very funny and make the tour very enjoyable. Great views of the city overall

A salesman pushed us on the boat (we were looking for views and couldn’t decide against this voyage out to sea for the sunset tour) and we were lucky to find seats (someone’s daughter begrudgingly removed herself for our sake). My immediate reaction was to feel screwed over when the introductory announcements on the ship were in Spanish, which I could overlook, thankful that the company was welcoming at all, but we could barely tell they were foreign (to us) because the speakers were hard to hear. What was clear enough was the cheesy Pirates of the Caribbean music, which suggested we were about to embark on a Disney-esque trip. The skeleton in the corner must have been waiting for adventure, since he appeared to have died long ago (along with his hopes). It turned out that we had the best seats (we were able to avoid being rained on and with the absence of others, able to roam to the front of the ship once the rain stopped), but I’d mark the score down for everyone else’s sake since, when it started raining they all went “below deck.” As for the tour itself...what the hell? Basically, our “host,” while perfectly multilingual with an entertaining voice, was limited to “Annnnd on your right you’ll see a beautiful home with yellow shutters and a red roof once owned byyyyy...a Spanish actor...Zorro himself...” “...annnnnd on your left, the next celebrity who does way better than anyone on this tour is...” He milked it, getting “Ooo”s and “Ahh”s from the crowd (like 15 people) just by naming celebrities. He was a good announcer. But all he announced was celebrity names! And then played their music. It felt like my six-year-old going through my iTunes. I’d mark this down to a 1 star for the price of admission, but I gotta say that being on the ocean makes it impossible not to enjoy yourself. The views were spectacular, and any trip out would have been worth it...but not with this company.
Pretty fun time, I think the tour showed a decent portion of the rich people houses. I would have enjoyed it more if the music didn't change so quickly. I get that they were playing music to match the celeb, but, it's a little distracting. Overall fun experience.
El Loro Boat helps you know the essence of Miami, by sailing around the harbour, mansions, iconic buildings, with a nice funny animated narration.
Good time. Worth the money.
El Loro was such a great expirence, the tour guides was great and it seems like everyone had a great time. Definitely choose el Loro! And check out this boat ride if ever in Miami
