Amazing atmosphere! We truly enjoyed our night. We did the grill. The cook was charismatic, attentive and the food was delicious. An absolute 10!!

The food is very delicious. I wish the atmosphere was more Japanese (music, uniforms, etc.). Instead, I felt I was eating sushi in Juarez. Do not order the cheese cake, the Japanese cheesecake is very heavy and dense, instead of being light and fluffy. Otherwise, everything else on the menu is a thumbs up.
I have been going to koze for years and the food is usually top notch. Unfortunately, as of late the portions are half, if not less, than what they used to be! But, of course, the prices are not half! While I can so appreciate the current situation of restaurants with Covid impacting business, I cannot see paying 130 plus for sushi and only getting half of what was expected. May I suggest somewhere in between. Don’t cheat customers by charging the same and not delivering. I doubt I will return. A disappointed customer,
We arrived at the restaurant at 730. When we entered, the hostess told us we needed to hurry and get our orders because they had to close at 850. We figured over an hour was plenty of time to eat. We asked to sit at the grill ,but were informed it was closed. No worries ,they took us to an empty table . The waitress came asked if we were ready to order, yet we hadn't received menus or given QR code for an online menu. We then were moved to the grill because another couple made a reservation which was wonderful ; however ,we then had to wait for this mysterious couple to show. Odd considering we started the evening being told that we need to rush our orders. After 20 minutes, the couple never showed, so they decided to start so it wouldn't \ cut into our eating time \. The cook was wonderful, but obviously rushing as the waitress kept checking their watches. By the time the cook finished, Chair were being stacked on tables. It was 8:15. I've never felt so rushed by a staff to leave an establishment in my life. I understand wanting to close on time in order to follow the COVID mandate, but this was ridiculous. The food was excellent and the wait staff was kind, but the experience was so uncomfortable and left us feeling unwanted in their establishment. Definitely don't go if you want a relaxing meal.
