This is a private structure. It is a beautiful landmark seen from the trail and tries to be nothing more. It is not open to the public rightfully so because of some unpleasant things that happened in the past. Don't expect to get in or on this castle and do not trespass on private land.

It's a beautiful site. It's disappointing that you can't see it from the inside as it is private property.
It is one of the last riverside castles....its a nice view and a pokemon go gym....meh
It's a landmark we've been pedaling past for over 35 years.
Heavily posted “no trespassing” your only view is going to come from the Fox River Trail. The main keep of this decaying castle looks to be about fifty or sixty feet tall. The building is a nice curiosity along the trail. I’d love to get on it and in it.
