APM TERMINAL in Elizabeth NJ,..STILL REMAINS problematic for drivers. One example is, if a driver fails to give an incorrect appointment number or vice versa the agent fails to enter the correct number at the entrance kiosk. The driver is given a blank trouble ticket and is unable to resolve the issue at trouble window assistance. Which defeats the purpose. Instead he is voided out and has to exit the terminal completely. Causing unnecessary line hold UPS, increasing traffic delays and having to make a line again to re-enter. In order to be processed correctly. This is very stressful, costly and unproductive both on the driver and customer, party's involved. This makes the process a lot longer and causes traffic delays. Please fix this issue it's long over due. It's just one of many.

Great terminal but systems greatest nice lady & guy over the speakers. But nasty groups & lazy. And uneducated on ground workers
If you’re a company driver getting paid by the hour you’re going to love APM because it can take 3 to 6 hours to get one move especially if it’s a reefer. For Owner operators who get paid by the move the days you come to this port consider it a loss day because it can take all day just to enter this port and exit with one Just move. Employees at this port get paid per hour while truck drivers get paid per container. APM employees work very slow to gain more hours causing truck Drivers to loose valuable time and money. The staff at APM are very disrespectful to Truckers and offer no help. This port is one of the most unorganized places in the world, you would be amazed that a powerful country like America accept this port. As an owner operator or small company you will be out of business if you do 50% of your business at APM.
Terrible place to be, truly scum.
Good old terminal. Easy to reach Jersy Garden for seamen. From there have transportation to Manhattan.
