Lived here for a year while I attended Kean University. It was convenient to commute to, and from. It was like a co-ed dorm, for adults. All of your housemates are aviation professionals and med-school students (typically). It truly felt like I was part of a family at a special time in my life. Price is affordable, people are nice, and house is luxurious. Cleaning crew comes twice a week and all utilities/amenities are including in cost. I made some very amazing friendships in the time I spent there, that I will maintain for the rest of my life. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to live here, you should.

I very much enjoy living there. The communal living is amazing. The rooms are clean, fully furnished and spacious. Only 15 mins away from EWR. I highly recommend anyone that is looking for a crashpad to stay in The Redeye.
Very nice and clean place to live. Has a variety of rooms and room sized to help meet your needs. Worth the time to go and look and see if it meets your needs.
I lived here for 6 months until I moved to a permanent apartment close enough to EWR. I LOVED it, everything was clean and they did an especially great job with cleanliness as the pandemic started. So many different options for rooms and great prices for what you get! I love the Redeye and Don was great too!
I stayed for 6 months at this place and it was an absolutely great stay! The room was brand new and it was very clean & pleasant to live in, fully furnished and common areas & bathroom were regularly cleaned. I wasn't around the place most of the time so I missed out a bunch, but it you like socializing with other people this is a great place to be since there's a lot of activities going on and always something to do. People are friendly and nice and willing to help you and cook & do groceries with you, etc. Lastly, my landlord was very helpful and always accommodating to my needs. If you want to live in Jersey I guarantee you won't find a better option at this price and location with great people. :)
Resided in "The RedEye 2." Excellent accommodations arranged in a community living style. Multiple bedroom configurations allow potential to suit your desired saturation (studio w/ 3 shared, bunks, private room, etc.). Massive kitchen with dual ovens, large/commercial dual refrigerators and freezers with your own space, personal cubby for food storage, common areas to include a gym, theater and TV/sitting area. Unlimited Internet/wifi and coffee beans included! Pre-COVID included cleaning service, however throughout the year residents took on the tasks of cleaning their own space and shared spaces as the cleaners weren't allowed in due to COVID. Beds are yours ("cold") (no hot-swapping crashpad here thankfully). Limited reserved parking available for those who need. A garden is available for planting behind RedEye2 and between 1 & 2. BBQ grill and outdoor sitting space also available between the buildings. All of my experiences with the RedEye2 residents were positive and most are very generous, want to get to know you and is generally a good time with all. After having stayed in another local, well-known crashpad (slum lord scenario), I wholeheartedly endorse The RedEye. While you can find much cheaper "Crashpads" you absolutely get what you pay for and it's worth the extra at The RedEye.
I had a great time at The Redeye! Everyone was very friendly and the community events were fun! Great accommodation for the price. Will definitely recommend to everyone and stay again if I return to Elizabeth.
