We needed a last-minute rental RV, and Adrian at the Elk Grove Cruise America location was there for us. We wound up there because the trailer we were initially going to use was involved in an accident. Adrian had an RV (standard length) ready for us in under two hours. That was amazing! The RV itself was good. There were a few minor issues, such as a bend in the screen door, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying the week. It was nice and comfy for three, but would be fine for 5. The fridge and freezer can run on electric, too, so you don't have to spend propane to keep it cold if you are plugged in! Overall, the price was completely reasonable, when you factor in everything including gas and mileage; you'd be hard pressed to find a decent motel room for what we paid per night. Our experience has left us thinking that Cruise America may be again in our future. Thank you.

I had good quality service, when checking out my RV. The RV was very dusty inside, and the refrigerator wasn't fully clean. But my overall experience in RV worked out well. The RV was kind of pricey, so you should keep in mind when also renting a campsite, that experience could surprise you if you haven't planned it out. I would do it all over again it was fun and enjoyful. I will also rent an RV from the same location hopefully with a better price. Enjoy your camping trip, I did.
We had a really great experience renting with Cruise America. The ease of reserving the RV for the dates we wanted was as simple as a submission online. We were contacted by Andre at the Elk Grove office the day before to confirm our reservation. Andre was friendly and very helpful in accommodating a convenient pick up time for us. Upon pick up of the RV the next day, we were greeted with the same warmth and friendliness Andre expressed over the phone. Andre was quick in preparing our RV reservation and thorough in instructing us on the essentials in caring for the RV. We found the RV to be in clean condition and the accommodations were what we had expected. Our family enjoyed an 8 day adventure from California to the Grand Canyon, Nevada and Utah. The RV was in good condition and gave us no trouble at all, even through the desert where temperatures reached 118 degrees at times. Upon drop off of the RV we were greeted with friendly staff and all expenditures were clearly explained to us. I would recommend Cruise America to others interested in exploring our beautiful country. It was especially an excellent way to take a family vacation in a safe way during the pandemic of 2020.
We rented this RV to drive from California to Washington then back with 2 children. We had a blast. The kids were so comfortable and the RVs facilities worked better than I expected. There were some minor flaws with the RV. The curtain to separate the room was broken so the privacy level was low. It was fine for us. Also the floors was really sandy. Like REALLY sandy. I’m glad I brought my broom because the last renters must have taken a serious beach trip. Would have been nice for that to be taken care of prior to our trip but it didn’t spoil our fun. Staying at the RV Paris along the way was awesome with the kids. Would definitely rent again.
