Excellent doctor, friendly, helpful, and considers everything before surgery. I have had problems with my back for many years. Another doctor recommended surgery, Dr. Tashima recommended PT. Pt is working and the sciatica is slowly going away. I know it will take time, so you do need patience. He is willing to see me again if I deem it necessary where I feel PT isn't helping. I was given exercises that I am able to do at home that seem to be working. I would highly recommend Dr. Tashima as a consult before deciding upon surgery.
