Amazing food and sushi I love that they put a small label on the Asian drinks so you know what's the flavor when you buy, very helpful and appreciated. My wife loves the cute socks lol

Clean and well organized. Prices were surprisingly good! Whatever you're looking for, there are many products to choose from. Prime members get some perks for delivery and pick up. I've never seen so many employees working in a store before!

An alternative and modest Japanese grocery store if you're looking for authentic Japanese products as well. I usually go to Mitsuwa marketplace in Arlington Heights, IL but sometimes last summer there would be a line and you would have to wait so long and then on top of it if you run out of imported Japanese rice it's a first come first serve so they don't call you back at Mitsuwa. Do try their fresh sushi also it's very good compared to what Mitsuwa Market has. Mitsuwa Market is a much more larger conglomerate since it's somewhat Nationwide but I like this place better and I had seen a billboard advertisement before about this place and last year was a bucket list. I was very pleased or happy to discovering this hidden gem Japanese grocery store when there's no other alternative around the Chicagoland area in Elk Grove village near a strip mall between Arlington Heights Road and Higgins Road. If you're also looking for Japanese authentic ingredients or products this is another alternative place to go to beyond popular Mitsuwa Marketplace. I was impressed and liked that they take the extra mile when you're looking for a particular item when they're out of it in stock they actually call you back. They go above and beyond for service. Reason for 5 stars

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. We love the sushi from the back of the store (the quality seems exceptional, yet it is extremely cheap compared to most nice restaurants). The rest of the store is great too, with a variety of fish selection and Japanese desert goodies.

I highly recommend ordering from their food court ! Everything is delicious. They are currently expanding their store, so it's a little crowded inside, but I'm excited for all the new options! They have a great fish selection and it is conveniently marked "fish for cooking" or "fish for sushi".

We love Tensuke. Their food is terrific. We've ordered catering from them on numerous occasions. Their sushi is some of the best around and we do regular trips to stock up on the market. Their employees are always courteous and the store is super clean.
