Former own Jim Hoppe was a honest man. So after his death my parents continued working with his business. However his wife and son are not honest people. On one occasion the son drilled through a brick wall without our knowledge or permission to rerun a line which he didnt want to spend the time pulling out and rerunning properly. Now we have a very noticable wire protruding from our exterior brick right next to the most commonly used door. Then we had a pipe which had been broken during some construction. Turf spray charged 169.96 to dig a hole that was a foot deep and a foot wide. They then informed us that the work would take to long and couldnt be finished that day. After 3 weeks of waiting with a gaping hole outside our front door we called another company. The repairs were done the following day in eleven minutes by one man. The repairs, refilling the hole, and replacing six sprinkler heads cost only eighty dollars more than Turf Spray charged to dig a hole and leave. Then the company began sending bills in my name. I have never had an account with this business. But the owner took it upon herself to switch my parents account into my name without permission or even informing me. She claimed this was a mistake when we confronted her and launched into a twenty minute rant during which time we caught her in several outright lies. This company is unorganized, unprofessional, and dishonest. If you, like me, have an elderly parent who uses this company I suggest changing services. They have taken advantage of my mother for years now and I thank God that I was able to find out and interfere.
