Quality and integrity, we have been in the trailer industry just a short time, represented a few different manufacturers and I have to say that Cross has been the best to deal with making them our first choice for quality, we have sold hundreds of Cross trailers with only a hand full of minor issues that were resolved very quickly by the Cross team. I'm very certain that if you take a close look at a Cross trailer compared to some other manufactures you will see the difference, I'm a firm believer that you judge a company by how they take care of problem when they arise.

Is Your Trailer Rusting too? A 1-year coatings warranty doesn’t represent a quality trailer. If you purchase a Cross Trailer, be sure to understand the very limited warranty and ask for repairs on your coatings and paint before the 1-year mark. Their warranty is non-transferable to another owner and their documentation states Warranty approval or denial is at Cross’s discretion. I think Tommy Boy said it best… ’You can put a warranty on a box, but all you'll have is a Guaranteed Piece of S*!T’ Since the limited warranty on coatings is 1-year, they know that nearly any finish will likely hold up for 12 months leaving their customers with rusty frames that introduce costly repairs, additional service, and potential future safety issues. Cross claims quality, yet their limited warranty and poor coatings performance proves otherwise.

My trailer is rusting too! The 1st issue was a aluminum wheel fell off in less than 50 miles when I picked it up at one of their vendors. They never tightened the lug nuts after going from Elkhart, Indiana. Almost killed someone when the tire flew off and passed me at over 100mph. Landed over an embankment and disappeared in to the abyss. 2nd. Trailer door is rusted and popping out the lower aluminum trim. Trailer just hit 2 years old. Very little use. No protective barrier between 2 panels of aluminum and steel frame and electrolysis caused rusting on outer panel. Called to get warranty and she said she would get back to me to work it out. No call back and I called 3 times. Will never buy another trailer from Cross Trailers.
