Nice little gem!! I wish we could've stayed longer. The staff was super helpful during an emergency. My step kid played around with the camp shower and burned himself, but the staff helped us conduct first aid as my kit want prepared for burns (all of us have fire safety training... But not stupid small children trained) Nestled right along the river, I wish we could've stayed for the music festival

4.5 Stars! I like this campground because of the beach and good fishing spots for the boys. We have gone several times and always have a good time. Would be nice if the port-a-potty was emptied more often during the busy season. I would recommend paying online so you have your own record. When we were accidentally overcharged, Bill was quick to make it right.
Stayed during COVID. Staff was helpful (but a little tipsy) however the campsite was loud, dirty, and bright. The fees are excessive and don’t make a lot of sense. They failed to mention the train passing 3 times in the middle of the night and once in the morning. Also there is no potable water, inconvenient for tent campers. If you want to party until 2 a.m. , this is a good campsite. If you want to sleep though, I’d say move on.

the time i got here was after a big flood but everything still worked awesome. It is a good property, probly good haunted house at halloween (bloodrush i believe). outdoor shower though (not a problem) warm water.
