I was impressed to find this running- focused store in Laurel. They even have a custom insole molding machine, which is awesome. There is a huge selection of running shoes and gear, plus all the hard-to-find items such as lace locks and running-specific shorts. Note that it is inside the complex next to Trader Joe's.

My wife and I swung into the store hoping for a quick exchange of shoes that were purchased online. We had received the shoes earlier this week and they were slightly too narrow for a comfortable fit. Dave helped us out in the store. He came up to speed on our situation quickly, ran a foot analysis, chatted about activity goals, and brought out a couple of options for my wife. She tried on all of the options but Dave's first pick was the best fit and comfort match. The whole process was efficient and helpful. Thanks Dave! 2020/11/30 update I came back today for a shoe purchase for myself. I worked with Paul today and the service was great. He engaged with me upon arrival and I brought him up to speed on my hopes. We did the usual workup, foot scan, and talked about my plans for the shoes. I ended up trying on three pairs of shoes, all of which fit nicely. I went with the new balance based on comfort and a long standing history with the brand. Paul worked me through the insert fitting process as well, which was new to me. I'm leaving with new shoes, new inserts, and a continued sense of happiness with this store... The employees here have always given me five star support. Keep up the great work!

I was visiting from out of town and mentioned I was in need of new running shoes. My friend immediately recommended going to Roadrunner Sports. I ended up with enough time to check it out and am so glad I did! Dave helped me find the perfect fit and took the time to make sure everything was working correctly before I left. I visited the Columbia store for the first time today and received exceptional customer service from Dave Floyd. The store opened an hour later than the posted time due to the holiday. Dave was outside waiting and greeted me warmly. I told him that I would return when the store opened. I was very impressed that he remembered my name when I returned. He displayed patience, as well as knowledge to assist me in making the right purchase. Thanks, Dave for making my first experience a good one.
