An amazing find that doesn't feel like it's in Indiana. Feels like a legit swamp/marsh and has some great nature views. It wasn't too crowded and was relatively peaceful. One of the better nature preserves I've been to in Indiana and one I'd visit again.

Loved this place! Easy and flat the whole way. A few steps if you want to look out at some of the views. Just a small warning for little ones or those unsteady on their feet: It is an elevated walk way the whole hike. Meaning their are sides you could fall off of, if not paying attention. The plastic grated is the more secure and non moving part of the hike. When you get to the wooden boards their is some motion, loose boards and small holes. (Nothing major) Just something to be aware of. Will definitely go back and check it out in all kinds of seasons!

It's beautiful! The boardwalk is well done. I recommend donating to help keep it maintained. There is plenty benches if you need it. The plants and water are so pretty and great for photography hobbyists.

A really easy trail walk especially with anyone who has a hard time walking natural trails. Everything is elevated from plastic towards the beginning to wood towards the back part. The gravel part of the trail at the beginning is the only natural part of the trail. Great for bird watching and other animals that you typically find around a Marsh area. There are several little sit down spots to either rest or just enjoy the nature around you. Well worth the trip. I need to go back when the trees start changing color more.

We had a wonderful walk on the boardwalk. My husband easily navigated the trail/boardwalk with his mobility scooter. We enjoyed the late season wildflowers.
