My wife Brenda Muriel Wambough entered-into-rest on January 20, 2021. Five days prior to her passing, final arrangements were made at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home with Mr. James Bass (Managing Partner/Funeral Director). He suggested action steps for the Memorial Service that led to an outstanding celebration of my wife’s life. I was relieved to find out that these action steps were to be handled by the professional staff of the funeral home; this took a huge weight off my shoulders; also, I felt no pressure was placed on me to buy or purchase anything. Options were presented and decisions made based on what I wanted for my wife’s life celebration. Emerald Coast Funeral Home is a quality facility unsurpassed by other funeral homes; in fact, people quickly recognize its beauty, how well its designed, and its superb interior décor; easily, the most beautiful funeral home I have ever seen! The Funeral Home Director - Mr. James Bass should be applauded for the beautiful funeral home he designed and for the superior customer service, hospitality, caring, and kindness provided by himself and his staff. If a loved one should pass away in your family, I recommend Emerald Coast Funeral Home.

And one thing for sure from the time of the pre arrangements a year ago while my husband was in hospice till the time he passed, Christine assisted me with my pre arrangements till my final arrangements. She keep me informed of everything. From the time he arrived till after his cremation. Also as well as the moment his ashes was being shipped. I lost my husband Bobby Mack on September 18 and met with Christine Gregory two days later to discuss funeral arrangements. She is the ultimate professional and is very kind and caring. She made us feel comfortable with the entire process. After our initial meeting I had many questions, which she answered via text or email almost immediately. We discussed what we wanted and the day of the celebration of life she took care of everything and made sure it was the perfect send off for my husband Bobby. I cannot thank Christine and Emerald Coast Funeral Home enough for making the worst day of my life a bit easier. In addition, the facility is beautiful.

I lost my husband of 58 years on 10/12/19. He had elective surgery on 10/9/19, and should not have died from his elective surgery. I am devastated by his passing. When I went to Emerald Coast Funeral Home, I was distraught and in disbelief that my husband is no longer here. I want to thank Jeffrey Wilkinson for his professionalism, compassion, kindness, and caring nature. He exceeded my expectations for my husband’s celebration of life. He listened to my needs and concerns and made sure everything was perfect. His video of my husband’s life was arranged beautifully. He also recommended a song called “Jealous Of The Angels” to play at his viewing which sums up who my husband was to my family, and he will be missed every day of our live’s. They also have an annual candle light memorial service every year to celebrate all the people who have passed away. The candle light service was amazing. I would highly recommend Emerald Coast Funeral Home and their staff.
