Nice local ski/snowboard store. Owner is knowledgeable. No return policy, only exchange but can be used towards their mountain trips if necessary. Shop local! :)

Love the fact that not only is their a ski/snowboard shop in Queens, but they offer phenomenal trips at a great value. Every time I have been to the shop they have always had my equipment tuned and ready for the trips. Great staff, great location, and great value what else can you ask for.

Emilio's is an absolute gem - great bus trips and really helpful, knowledgeable staff. They also do a fantastic job with tune ups - completely transformed my skies last week. Love this place!

These guys make customer satisfaction their number one priority. I recently retired my old ski boots and they got me into a gorgeous new pair (PERFECT FIT!!!) for less than i expected, Needless to say I was stoked to go skiing ASAP. I took an Emilio's bus trip to Hunter mountain last week and the staff's experience and professionalism was evident as soon as the bus showed up. Ed was the trip leader and he was on top of the situation all the time. He kept us informed and told us what we needed to know (departure times, locations of critical resources like bathrooms, first aid, how to get in touch with him in the event of an injury on the slopes, etc.) to ensure we had a great day on the slopes. The ride home was very cool, with everyone hanging out and watching the on board movies. Emilio's is the oldest independently-owned ski shop in NYC and their bus trips are a great example of how their customer-first attitude sets them apart from the mega-stores that are just bottom-line oriented. Thanks Emilio's!

Please avoid if possible. I know the prices are ok but the employee's are incredibly rude and they make you feel like you owe them something. I've given them thousands of dollars in business between my friends and I but they give me trouble for returning a pair of gloves that I bought the previous day and never opened them. I will take my business elsewhere from now on you just lost a very valuable costumer.

I have been a loyal Emilio's customer for over 15 years. Living in queens and finding a reliable shop was always a challenge, so I had to drive to either Sundown or Ski Stop on LI but with traffic and work this was never easy. Finally a friend of mine mentioned Emilio's in Forest Hills. After my first visit I knew it wouldn't be my last. Although not a big shop, they have a great selection of the most popular styles and brands. They will even special order things for you upon request. They always keep my edges super sharp to help cut through the "ice-capades" and apply a nice layer of wax to keep me speeding through the greens-blues-and blacks. Not only are the staff extremely knowledgeable and super friendly, but they are passionate riders and skiiers always willing to lend some free advice and tips to keep you at your best both on and off the mountain. Now on to their trips which are an absolute bargain when you factor in the cost of a lift ticket, gas, tolls and stress with long drives to the Catskills and Vermont. Yes they are times when the buses are delayed due to traffic, but hey that's the tri-state area for you. They even provide free bagels and/or fruit for a light breakfast before heading out for the day. So the bus picks you up in the morning, they pass out the lift tickets, then off for a busy day on the slopes. The best part about it is you don't have to agonize over worrying about the long drive back home after the sun goes down and through some of those crazy mountain roads. They even play DVD's on the way back to help pass the time and/or help you fall alseep. Yes there are some big box stores out there like Paragon, REI, etc but to me the environment at Emilio's is what makes me a loyal customer. It's like the show Cheers where you come into the shop and very quickly "everybody knows your name!"
