Good for kids
A very nice place. The cabins are beautiful and have every thing you may need except aluminum foil. But I have no complaint, it was a very nice visit.

CAUTION! Access through Buttin Rock is too steep for children. Drive through ArrowHead Campgrounds to access bridge swing.
Good hike, great scenery!
As of June 2019, this access area is closed per MDC website and the road down to the river is washed out. There is another river access about a quarter mile downstream on river right off Hwy 106 provided by the Town.
Second year I've been coming here all the way from Wisconsin. This area dealt with horrible flooding (roughly 40-50 feet above normal) before Memorial Day this year and have bounced back great! Very glad I still made the trip to kayak!
