This family-run business is AWESOME! They gave us surf tips and an amazing new board, and were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond for us. We are ocean surfers so they helped school us on lake surfing. They are so passionate about surfing too which is great! Helped us prop the the board on to our car and sent us to an amazing surf spot. Highly recommend this place!!! Thanks from Deb and George in Chicago!

We have rented paddle boards from Sleeping Bear Surf & Kayak for two years in a row. What a great experience! Everyone that works here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their equipment! Their prices are extremely reasonable! Ella was very helpful! I can't wait to come back up here next year with my family!

Stopped in hoping to rent a kayak, but apparently you have to do that day in advance. They did set us up with stand up paddle boards and we spent a great day out on the water. Staff was friendly and helpful, equipment was in good shape. Definitely recommend
