Authentically awesome. A very good restaurant that has all the right ingredients. We were met by the owner who was very personable and friendly and clearly has a passion for good food. We felt relaxed and welcomed, and as for the food, it was very good indeed. The lunch specials were really sensible in price and size. The food was really good, great flavours that were rich and diverse. Will be back for sure.

MUST EAT HERE!!! This restaurant is a hidden gem!! They opened in November (right in the heart of the pandemic) and I want everyone to know about this place. The food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The flavors and spices are all authentic. After talking to the owner, he said “I cook straight from the heart and I am so grateful that people enjoy it.” I wish this restaurant the very best! We are visiting from out of town, but will be returning anytime we are here. You will not be disappointed!

Delicious! We love this spot. Great outdoor patio, friendly staff, hot and yummy food. Nice flavors and a big menu!! The lunch special is such a great deal. Wish we would have added this to our routine earlier.

We read the great reviews about this place and decided to try it. The food is terrific and the service very attentive. The restaurant is sparce but the modest setting gives the impression of a home-style kitchen where every dish is fresh and delicious. Plenty of options for vegetarians and the naan is really good. This spot is quickly becoming a go-to restaurant for lunch or dinner. We highly recommend you give it a try.

Indian/Nepalese cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines. I am South African and grew up eating eating variety of traditional curries and stews. I travel a lot for work and have had the fortune of trying some of the best Indian restaurants in the nation, including dozens of places in SoCal. Everest Himalayan Cuisine is by far, the best restaurant I've ever been to. This cozy casual restaurant opened in November originally for take-out. I am a big fan of dine-in, so I was excited to find out that they recently opened for dine-in. I came with my best friend (we're always looking for new favorite restaurants). We decided to get a couple things to share. Started off with the Lamb Momos. They were such a wonderful treat. For Entrees, we went with the Lamb Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken with Cilantro Garlic Naan. While eating our Momos, an adjacent table received their Tabdoori Chicken and Lamb. It smelled and sounded so good, we decided that we would have to order more (we also ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tandoori). Our food came, and when I dipped my Naan into the sauce, I nearly cried it was so good. It reminded me of a better version of my grandmas famous Tikka Masala. It's was then, that I knew this would become my new favorite place. It was so flavorful and luscious. All the meat was so tender. The Naan was supple, while pillowy and stretchy at the same time, (clearly proofed perfectly). Every dish we tried was the best iteration of the dish I've ever had. I usually order my food quite spicy (9-10), but if you like a flavorful warm heat, get a 5 to 7. We ordered another order of the Cilantro Garlic Naan to get every bit of the sauce. I know I'll be back soon. I really would like to try more of their dishes and their desserts. They also have a nice Lunch Special, I'd like to try. Thank you for sticking around, and reading to the end. I hope more people discover this new place; there's nothing like it, especially in San Diego.

Everest is a wonderful place to dine! We were first timers and walked in after a sunset walk. The service was great, the people watching was fun, and the ambience was nice! We were impressed by the quality of the food. The dishes were bursting with flavor. We got the chicken tikka under the tandoori section and it came out on a sizzling stone. The garlic cilantro naan was also a delicious addition. Recommend!

I am so glad that I found this place on the strip, everything all around was excellent. The owner is super sweet and just goes above and beyond to satisfy is guests. The restaurant is spacious and has outdoor dining so you can people watch while you are enjoying your meal. The food, well the food is flavorful and delicious. We ordered the famous vegetable samosa and they were yummy, soft on the inside and crispy but not dry on the outside. We are also ordered the mixed vegetables that are cooked with Himalayan spices and that dish was superb, the owner told me that he imports them directly from Nepal, that was my favorite dish, my hubby also ordered nawaratan korma , vegetables coconut curry, we omitted the raisins and also the dish flavorfully, creamy but not too heavy, entires came with rice. I really enjoyed the food and had a fantastic lunch and will definitely be back to try more of his yummy food. CC accepted. PS. For now if you check in on yelp, you will receive 15% off.

Found this place with my friends after surfing in Cardiff. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions on what to order. The portions are a good size and their entrees come with rice. Everything was delicious! From their Korma, Paneer, to their Samosas and sauces. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area. Highly recommend if you want delicious Indian food with a mix Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine.
