Didn't explore the first time I went. Explored the second time and this place is three times bigger than I imagined. The entire upstairs is amazing. Very nice bar for a Horse Track. Nice options for food. Went when they had live music which they should have all the time! This is my favorite track in Nor Cal. I left with a few hundred in my pocket too!!

I love Golden Gate Fields! Such a great outing with friends on a weekend. 1 days are amazing - my friends definitely got their fair share of 1 hot dogs, beers, and ice cream sandwiches. The nachos looked really good but since they were not a 1 no one in my group went for them. It's definitely worth the extra 2 to move up to the clubhouse level.

Fun day in a beautiful park! Paid 6/person instead of 1/person and got to sit in box seats! 1 hot dogs, beer and sodas. Dachsunds are so cute, and I didn't realize they also run their 7 horse races for the day as well. Would give 5 stars if we hadn't accidentally paid the 6 instead of doing it on purpose because lines and doors were not properly marked.

Dollar days are nice and cheap but we definitely paid more for parking in order to park closer than the 1 parking. It was really fun but since it's a cheap day expect to see a lot of characters. The mimosa are good and most options for seats or standing offer a good view. You can even go down to the area to see the horses prep before they get out on the track.

This review is only for the Turf Club experience. The Turf Club is really comfortable and the food is pretty good. You can place your bets at windows that are only a few feet from the tables. I don't know much about horse racing and my bets were really small but the experience was really exciting! This is a great way to spend an afternoon with friends!

Yes...This is my favorite way to spend a weekend day. Saturdays usually provide a great stakes race and a free t-shirt...but Sundays...ohh Sundays..1 day. how can you go wrong being outside and having 1 hot dogs and beers...don't let horse racing die...go to the tracks! This is a sport that is not as popular as it once was so enjoy! It was america's sport and its definitely mine. Golden gate is great!
