The best knife shop in CA. Everyone that works here is awesome, the best customer service in the industry. Awesome selection of custom and production blades! I drive over an hour to get here but I refuse to go anywhere else!
So I wanted to buy an OTF knife I’ve always wanted a microtech since they first started but never did buy one back then I started looking at knives online and I happened across recon one being a microtech dealer I was browsing their site and came across the California leagal CCKS 2020 knives in stock being in California with the laws they have I figured I’ll just go up to recon and check it out the guys at the store were real nice helped me out and bought the knife they also had a California legal heretic OTF but I wasn’t looking to spend that much on such a small knife well so far I’ve been using my little microtech at work I make delivery’s and cut boxes open cut plastic wrap and having a one hand operated knife has really helped out other then the slight mishap I had with my thumb and the really sharp blade anyways my little microtech has been holding up for everyday use I’m happy with the purchase and when I go pick up a couple Exocets I’ll go back up to recon the only negative experience I had was driving from the store back to my house in Long Beach on the 405 in rush hour traffic lol thanks recon 1
Great selection on high end knives and great customer service; knowledgeable and friendly. This store is crack if you're into knives.... check them out.
I LOVE RECON ! I have a friend named James that referred me to go over there to shop for Shirogorov knives. So one day i went down there to check them out in person. When i walked in i saw almost every model you can think of from Chris Reeves along with a nice display of Shirogorov knives. I brought my daughter with me who is 2 and the staff were super friendly.. entertaining my daughter in the stroller while i was playing with some knives they pulled out of their display for me to check out. They were Friendly, accommodating and patient while i picked something out to bring home. What an awesome 1st impression. I have gone back to buy a couple times since. All the staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!
