If I could give this company less than a star I would. I called because for the first time ever as a homeowner I forgot to order oil. PayLessForOil.com is my usual supplier and come to find out they do not have an after hours service. I called Connecticut valley and informed them I had run out of oil with a baby in the house. The on call told me someone would call back to tell me if they could bring 10 gallons by to get me through the night. I called back 30 minutes later to tell them I had to make the decision to leave and bring the baby somewhere with heat only be told the tech had answered right away and he was surprised I hadn't heard anything yet but he would let the tech know I called again. 15 more minutes with nothing and my wife to be told the tech has one hour to answer me from my first call. I waited the hour with nothing still so I called to tell them forget it. I finally spoke with the tech who told me for 10 gallons it would be 170. Obviously not going to pay 17 a gallon for oil, but thanks for making me wait an hour for your ridiculous price. Glad I kept the baby in the cold house for information that could have been relayed on the first call by the on call service. Will never do business with this awful company. Now have an hour drive to the in-laws that could have already been done and over with.

I called CT valley because the smell oil fumes in basement, they recommended a tune up. The tech Joe serviced my furnace. He left his trash from supplies hidden behind my furniture in the basement- nice work Joe! At one point he called me from upstairs and asked that I come down to move a chair out of the way to access the oil filter, guess he couldn’t move it himself. His fix for the fumes in the basement was a screw lodged in between the smoke pipe vent damper, wow. I could’ve done that myself. Never again.
This place is awful i ordered my oil on a monday in march not on busy season they delivered it to the wrong house nunber 1. Then when i called they were closed 5 min before they were supposed to be. Then i get a answering service who says i will have a technician call you and he calls goes i dont deal with oil sorry like what good are you. I have a baby in the house where it had to be set at 64 because of this issues im glad they dont care about familes or childeren. I call at 730 in the morning right when they open for a discount because of everything i went though and he goes cant do that sorry. Im like you are a awful company and cant wait to use someone eles. Finally recieved my oil three days later at like 1:50 in the afternoon you think i would have been frist. Horrible company... should have 0 starts
I called due to having no heat around 8:30pm, furnace was leaking oil. I called and the call service contacted the tech at Connecticut Valley and he was out his door within 15 minutes and I had heat within no time. It was easy, and no hassle! I am a very happy customer! Great customer service!!!
I woke up in a panic at 2am realizing I had forgotten to order oil and we were LOOOW. I ordered oil online at 2am and it was delivered at 8:40am that day! They have always been efficient and dependable since we started ordering oil from them last year when we bought our house. I typically order online but when I have called they have always been courteous and answered whatever question I had. Will absolutely continue to order from CT Valley Oil!
