My 16 year old son and I deer hunted Friday and Saturday. Susan and Rodney sincerely love what they do. We’ve hunted SC with outfitters and Twisted Creek is heads and shoulders above them in hospitality and the accommodations are much better than we’ve experienced in the past. One evening we cooked our dinner on an open fire with Susan and Rodney and enjoyed chatting. TC owns land close by and has arrangements to hunt on other land tracks. TC plans expanding and getting more sites before next season. TC has tree stands, tripods and ground blinds in strategic places. I believe in what they are doing and booked another deer hunt with them next year during a more active part of the season. Bottom line, we enjoyed the hospitality, accommodations and the opportunity to get out and hunt without having to do all the scouting and stalking preparations necessary for a successful deer hunt. Thanks Rodney and Susan. We’ll see you next year.

Great place and even better people. Rodney and Susan were great from the moment we arrived. They both catered to any need we wanted. They both went above and beyond. If your looking for a great place to hunt with great people then definitely check them out. Will definitely be going back.
My 9 year old son and I went hunting here and we had a wonderful time. There are deer all over the place, tons of tracks, heard a big buck grunt at us in the dark from probably 10 yards away. More importantly, Rodney and Susan, and their family, are wonderful people. You can tell that they have put their heart and soul into this place. They deeply care about you and your experience with them. I suppose the best thing I could say is that I will definitely be coming back. I am leaning towards hunting Turkey there this Spring, and perhaps rabbit and squirrel in February. Roland Bowler
My kids and I had a great time fishing with Captain Rodney and his crew. He went the extra mile to ensure we had a good time, and that the kids had a cool adventure that they’ll remember for years to come. It was a very personal, down to Earth experience. Twisted Creek Outfitters gave us a nice family experience... It was like fishing with an old friend.
A very humble and down to earth experience out in Halifax county. My wife and I booked a deer hunt with Twisted Creek outfitters and Rodney and his wife Susan treated us with great hospitality! We will be back next season!
