I have an endless list of positive to things to say about Dr. Bell and the Institute of Esophageal and Reflux Surgery as a whole. Dr. Bell is attentive to my needs and an absolute expert in the field. I've struggled with reflux for 25 years and seen countless physicians. Dr. Bell has been one of the most creative and patient while addressing my symptoms. My high quality of life is thanks to him. If anyone I love or care about experiences reflux, he will always be the doctor I recommend. Kate Freeman and the other team members are all kind and responsive as well. Whenever I have questions they promptly get back to me on the phone or via email. They ensure I am always comfortable with my procedures and know exactly what to expect prior to and after the surgery. This office is incredible.

Very poor post surgery follow up. I could never get the doctor to advise me exactly what he did during the surgery. Weeks later I called when a problem started developing and the receptionist said she will ask the nurse to call me sometime in the next few days. I advised it was urgent....still waiting for a call back. Terrible after surgery care and follow up.
Dr Bell done my hernia repair and Linx surgery on Tuesday . I would highly recommend him and the whole staff they were all extremely friendly . My appointment was at 10:30 there was no waiting
Fantastic Surgeon and Doctor! His staff and nurses are all nice too. Took a very difficult situation and surgery and saved my husband's life! Everyone else told him to take antacids, Dr. Bell cared and uncovered the real issue and fixed it. He's probably one of the best in the country.
