Easy, nice walk on a sunny day. Bathrooms open. 1 mile and half around the lake. Will come again

Nice little park that closes at dusk. We walked the loop trail with the kids. Clean bathrooms and nice calm view. We will be back for a longer visit.

This park has a 1.4 mile trail going around Deep Lake. There are a few people walking their dogs. Trail is mostly level, wide, and well maintained. Even in rainy season it is not muddy or sloppy. It has plenty of parking, restrooms, and picnic facilities. The trail features some old growth Douglas fir and Western hemlock.

Beautiful park. Easy to hike with kids. Clean restroom and lots of tables to enjoy the scene and snacks. We love this park.

Neat place, we went there to launch the kayaks and found out there wasn’t much of a launching area but carried them down and had a great time fishing. We didn’t catch anything but a couple who was also there fishing from the shore caught two bass. Walking trail around the lake looked really nice and will want to do that someday. It wasn’t too busy when we went on Halloween but still a significant amount of people enjoying the park. Lots of picnic tables and the scenery is top notch, love how close to town it is.
