OMPH is a very welcoming church. It is a good place to attend mass when visiting Renningers, the Black Angus and Shupp's Grove which are close by.

I attended the annual spaghetti dinner at this church parish hall. I’ve attended this event a few times and it is always an impressive affair. The spaghetti sauce is a very old recipe that has been handed down through the generations: one if those slow, long cooked sauces that you can taste in the results. There is a salad dressing which was created by one of the pastors which is really creamy and tangy. The many volunteers are eager to please everyone and are walking around all the time to find out if you need anything. Wine and beer are available for purchase and other beverages are included in the low price of 9 a person. This includes as many servings as you can eat in the dinner hour. My only disappointment was that they ran out of cake before everyone had a serving. But it was ok. I didn’t need it. Watching the crew dismantle the hall and put away chairs and tables, cleaning up garbage and offering left over sauce for sale was an impressive effort of cooperation and efficiency. Many children are involved in the service of the customers. Kudos.
