We had a great experience renting from Escape-Phoenix. Check-in & check-out were easy and all staff were friendly and helpful. We rented the Big Sur for a 1,000 mile trek through Arizona and had the best time in our van. It was clean, well-furbished, and quality. Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I were inspired by a friend of ours who also rented from Escape Campervans. We thought, \this looks like a cool and inexpensive way to travel through the Grand Canyon around Christmas!\ Sure enough our expectations were fully met and then some. We thoroughly enjoyed each moment that we spent setting up for camp, cooking in the back of the van and just having the luxuries of a hotel at our hands while enjoying the scenery around us. Moreover, we felt safe the entire time, with everything fully equipped and prepared for long distance traveling. Nonetheless, everything was easy to use and to clean. And surprisingly, it didn't cost much for gas to either. We are definitely looking forward to renting another Van next year for our Vacation! Thanks Escape Campervans for the really cool and innovative idea to travel.
We love these people and what they are trying to do. They have created a whole new way to see America! There were a couple of little tips we recommended, like show people how to work the stove, or put a sponge and some dishwashing liquid in the kitchen kit, but overall it was a great experience. Two quick tips: download the how to video onto your phone in case you were in the wilderness and don’t have cell service to see on YouTube the how to video. Also, when we called the emergency line, they didn’t pick up so they need to work on that. But again they are lovely people, especially Katia the manager :-)
Amazing experience all around! Check in and drop off were super easy, super friendly staff, and expectations are super clear. The van was clean and ran great. I definitely recommend!
My husband and I took a trip from Phoenix, AZ to Denver, CO and National Park hopped the whole way. What a stunning part of the US to explore! We rented a Maverick campervan from Escape and had the absolute best experience. The van was perfect for our evenings camping, cooking and sitting by the fire. It was super easy to pack up and take to explore the little towns and eateries around each park as well. It had plenty of room for the two of us, all of our belongings and a week's worth of groceries and snacks.The kitchenette is big enough to accommodate creating healthy, full meals out of it! We so enjoyed the destinations and the van was the perfect mode of transportation and accommodation to really take in each of the National Park's beauty in a unique way. We slept in both the fold down bed in the van and pop-up on top- both were very comfortable and easy to set up. I would highly recommend renting a van and just going!! You won't regret riding in style in these convenient, hand-painted beauties.
