This place was delicious! We like trying new places. Generous portions. Very friendly and gracious service. Prices were fair and they didn't skimp on the flavor.
We came in for a Friday lunch and the place was empty. I felt bad for them. The server was very friendly but did not really know what was in the food (understandable but some in our party had dietary restrictions). Service wasn't very quick but the food was good. I had a fish burrito that was huge and flavorful. My son really liked his chicken tacos. My wife also enjoyed her California burrito with beans instead of beef. We'll probably be back. I hope they're still there when we do.
Convenient location, plenty of parking, nice interior with many tables to choose from. Friendly, attentive staff. The salsa has a nice kick, and the soup was delicious. We chose the "Fish a la Cruz Veracruzana," which was flavorful and not over-spiced. The portions are large - you will leave full! A great Mexican restaurant was needed in east Escondido, and Cabanna Mexican Restaurant fits the bill. Reasonably priced menu. Lots of seafood and fish dishes to choose from, along with regular Mexican fare. Highly recommend.
Very nice service, best part of experience. Food was good, but even though they were not busy it was not delivered very hot. Beans were tasty and the rice was very well prepared.
My fav location for Mexican food. great location to chill, eat some good food. it has a great feel to it.
Food was delicious. Decor leaves a little to be desired. But food and large menu choices are enough to bring me back again.
