I attended a session with Matt, and he made CPR/AED training enjoyable! I learned everything that I needed, but I had fun while doing it. He was able to mix humor with the seriousness of the training, and the session flew by. Would 100% recommend him and this company for CPR training!

I am a little concerned with This organizations Covid precautions. Although there was plenty of sanitary Precautions, the instructor neglected to keep his mask on at all times. He continuously Pulled his mask up and down while teaching the class. What was even more concerning was that he was coughing throughout the whole ordeal, although he assured the class that he was Covid free, that’s just words. Hopefully he was indeed Covid free and no one from that class gets sick.

This class was very helpful in teaching tips and tricks for remembering basic CPR & AED skills! The instructors are awesome! I will definitely be coming back for my recertification when my license expires. 10/10 recommend!!!

I took this CPR, AED & First aid class last month, the class was very informative and I am happy to have gained my certification. However, the instructor, a fire chief in the area was very racial throughout his teaching. He made a lot of comments pertaining to skin and how you can’t really tell whether or not a black person is choking due to their complexion(s). Also, stating that he’d touch on racial things a little more due to there being people of all races in the classroom ( I was the only black female, everyone else in the room was white.) Then, coming back to say that he likes people of all races he, “ don’t care if you’re black, white, yellow or blue”. The class made me very uncomfortable especially with me being the only person he’d triple check on about whether I was retaining the information. I would recommend people to come to Chesapeake AED to get their certification only if they’re white or he isn’t the instructor.
