Every time I've called for advocacy, I received incredible help, it's really helpful to talk to someone who can relate to the power and control issues that occur in any relationship, and in any situation. I wish all institutions would be educated because knowledge is power.

I donated a few bags of clothing to them recently. I felt like they were appreciative and happy to get them. I felt good knowing that they would go to women who really could use them. Some women leave an abusive relationship with just the clothes on their backs. A woman came in while I was waiting for the Receptionist to get a cart to help me load the clothes in and within just a minute, 2 Social Workers were in the lobby helping her. I was impressed by the level of caring and attention that they were giving to the woman. I think it is a great place for women to seek help and I'm so glad that I was able to help in some way. I will definitely donate there in the future.
