I have been very pleased with the customer service at Dave's. I have found that employees are friendly, patient and sufficiently knowledgeable about the vast number of different minerals that they sell. The free museum in the basement is an extra treat and I think the prices are good too. A great place to buy a gift or supplies for a project!

This place is the coolest little rock and fossil shop in the while Midwest! If it comes out of the ground, they can get you one! I go there especially for the fossils, this most recent trip I got an excellent specimen of a mosasaur tooth for a great price!
I have never been to a more well stocked rock shop in all my days. Every stop has been pleasant. I just wish you were closer to my home, it's a 5 hour drive! Thank you for my wonderful shopping experience(s) here.
