This is a decent place with a very caring and knowledgeable staff. Of course it has the same run-of-the-mill type building, wallpaper and everything in between. What sets Everett Center apart in my view is the knowledgeable nurses and the care that you receive. If you want steak dinners, awesome recreational facilities, Etc this is not the place for you nor would I want it to be. This is my third Nursing Facility this year and I'm only 52 years old. Look at the pictures of meals below, great food!! Two of the other ones had a little nicer facilities but of course the staff was unknowledgeable especially when it came to wound vacs and PICC Line dressing. I write honest reviews and if you agree with this please hit the like button.

This is the worse place you can choose for your family. Food was nasty. People are rude with the exception of 2 nice nurses. They treat people like trash. No compassion whatsoever. Irresponsible, unprofessional, just all over dark disgusting over all. DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY'LL WATCH YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS DIE WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING TILL IT'S TOO LATE.

Do not place your family member here! My mom had knee surgery. I transported my mom from the hospital to the Everett Care Center. It took over 30 minutes for the staff to find a wheelchair to help me get my mom out of the car and to her room. My mom sat in her room while I unpacked her belongings and tried to get her settled. During her stay there was three occasions where a caregiver/ nurse tried to give her someone else’s medication! Unbelievable!! Thank God my mom is able to advocate for herself! When my mom pressed her call button for assistance she often waited 30 minutes or longer for someone to respond to her needs. The quality of the food was horrible. I will say that all the staff were kind but lacked training. There is one doctor working part time serving the whole care center putting the workload on one charge nurse. My mom used to love this center but found, that with the change in ownership ,there have been a ton of cut backs sacrificing the quality of trained staff and care. I sincerely worry about the care of the patients who are not able to advocate for themselves. My mom will never return to this care center!

PLEASE DONOT put your elderly or handicapped loved one in this place. Although they have decent people in the staff. They helped kill my mom by not caring for her wounds. They expect 5000.00 a month payments to house and care for your loved one. And if there are problems they call 911 for ambulance transport to Providence or other local hospitals. Therefore adding more cost to your family.
