River Mountain is one of the best places I have visited. HANDS DOWN!! Great staff. Great service. I can go on and on but my best advice is to get there ASAP!! We will definitely be back. Don’t meet me there. BEAT ME THERE!!

We LOVE staying at this cabin. I can’t give enough compliments about how perfect this cabin is. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our dear friends at this perfect place.I’ve been lucky enough to visit it second time and can’t wait to go back. Special thanks to Liz, Toby and Megan you guys are the best. ️Happy hour beers was delicious. Also, thank you for providing s’mores. See you soon!

I only stayed here one night as just a quick getaway, but I can definitely say I will be back and for much longer! The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly, the grounds were big enough to be away from everything but close enough to the cabin (where the food is) and the barn where the group activities take place to enjoy the quick walk. Everything was sparkling clean, the food was great, happy hour was an awesome plus, and the bonfire and over all environment were just amazing. Highly recommend as a solo traveler or for you and a group of friends!

We had an amazing stay during labor day week-end at the River Mountain Retreat. The concept is very unique and it was in a gorgeous setting. You really have all the benefits and fun of camping without the inconvenience. You do not need to look for wood or even have to start your fire. All the employees were super nice and helpful. All the furniture are beautiful you can tell that it was made with great details and quality. I would definitely go back to enjoy the outdoors and to relax for a couple days.

River Mountain Retreat offers an environment that is good for personal retreat. Lots of area to walk to and explore, and spaces to sit and engage in reflection. Sleeping under the moon and stars was a awesome experience. Peaceful and tranquil place. Modern cabin, healthy food, good internet, friendly and reliable staff. I would definitely come back to this place.

We truly enjoyed our stay at River Mountain! From the food to the s’mores to the wine to the fun, they got everything right :)! The cabins were comfortable and relaxing! My small group shared with other visitors, who were very warm and friendly. The staff was always so helpful and accommodating during our first experience like this one! We will definitely be back again!

Meghan and the entire staff are very nice to deal with. They each went out of their way to offer advice on things to do in the area including hikes on the near by Mid State Trail. The sleeping pods are very comfortable to sleep in and the view of the stars cannot be missed. You will also want to take note of the Chef’s dinner series. The food was wonderful. I will be visiting again in a few months.
