This local office closes for an hour in the middle of the workday, every day, because all of the staff need to eat at the exact same time. It would be great if Mediacom would update the hours on here to reflect that because it’s a pain for a customer to make plans and take time out of their day to drive to the office only for it to be closed for an hour in the middle of the day. Ask me how I know.

Very poor service. The internet constantly cuts out, they reduce our speeds without reason, charge insane prices. When you call to get help its an automated machine that takes forever to let you speak with a person. I am sick of the poor service.

Absolute worst cable/phone/internet service in our area. Customer service completely unknowledgeable on service and give ridiculous reasoning on why you have an outage. We work in the industry and wish Unite Private Network or ANYONE else for that matter provided high speed ( and I use that term loosely) in our area - everyone we know would switch. If u have an option to get service from anyone else, we suggest you do so. If I could give negative stars I would.

I have been a customer (cable, internet, and telephone) since 1996. I have had multiple issues with my DVR service requiring several service calls. The last time I called I initially asked to remove the service. The representative asked if I could give the technician one more chance to fix it. The technician came on 10/1. The technician advised that it was a slow signal and he would be putting in a work order to change some outside cables. After he left I was receiving an error code on the TV not allowing us to even view on that TV I called to get the tech back out and was told I would receive a credit on my service (he came on 10/5). This morning when viewing a program recorded on DVR I was having the same issues as before (pixels and then freezing and then scrolling to the end of the program). When calling Mediacom and asking to speak with a supervisor, I was disconnected when being transferred to the supervisor. I called in again and spoke with a supervisor. I was told my current system is outdated and I should upgrade to TIVO (today is the 1st time I'd been advised of this). The supervisor quoted me what the charges would be and then we were disconnected. I called back in and was advised of a installation date. My complaint is that it took 3 phones calls to complete my business. I was disconnected from two supervisors and didn't receive a call back from either one of them. The 2nd supervisor acted like I should have known that my system was inferior and didn't seem to understand my frustration. Your customer service definitely needs an UPGRADE! When I called back I spoke with a great customer service rep named Tracy and was able to complete my transaction.
