Was Getting ready for a photoshoot and needed something done to my hair. Maybe I should’ve been more clear on the exact thing I wanted because my style was rushed and done totally wrong. My friend did it in her house and it turned out much better than what I received from an actual salon. I am sad.

I came here to get my locs dyed purple. I previously tried to color them myself but the color was too burgundy because I did not bleach my hair prior to. My appointment was rescheduled twice at the last minute. On the rescheduled date the stylist was about 30 mins late for my appointment. I informed her that I wanted purple locs but was okay with a more fuchsia color. I made sure to reiterate that I did not want my hair to turn out pink. After the first to tell at coloring my hair apparently the dye did not take in my hair turned out an orange color so it had to be redyed and it turned out pinkish magenta which is exactly what I did not want. I normally do not go to stylist to do my hair but I really wanted my hair colored. I feel like the stylist was extremely rough when handling my hair. I was also disappointed not only with the outcome of the color but with the lack of aftercare instructions and education on how to maintain the integrity of my locs after having it bleached. At one point during the appointment she had to leave to go to another appointment and I was left at the salon by myself for about an hour and a half. My hair was re-twisted extremely tight and I did not ask for a re-twist but I was still charged for it. Also no conditioning or product was applied to my hair to soften it or help with the damage caused by the bleach. Currently my hair is extremely fragile. I personally feel like I over paid to get results that I did not want and I am extremely disappointed in the service that I received. I will not be returning.

I didn't read the reviews about time mgmt before I booked. I got a reschedule notice at 3:30 to reschedule from 4:30 to 5. No problem....confirmed. Paid 5 to park arriving at 4:53. She is nowhere to be found. Called, texted, sent SMS, nothing. Finally left at 5:45. Got a call at 6:11 that her phone died and she couldn't communicate. That is still over an hour after my rescheduled appointment. Just saying, I would've gotten charged if the tables were turned but I just lose my parking fee and hours from my day to the oldest excuse on the planet. At least we agreed on her not charging a cancellation fee. I'll continue my search to find a stylist that values my time as much as they expect clients to value theirs.

This was my first experience with Ayanna doing maintenance with my dreads. I have to say she was very warming and professional. She did An amazing job with the wash and styling. I have received many compliments on my dreads. I would market her work any day. She is the best and again this was my first experience with her doing my dreads.
