We took advantage of seeing this place after the snowfall, and it’s a winter wonderland, dress appropriately, wear boot, hat, gloves and scarfs. Snow angles and snowman opportunities, a lot of geese and ducks, we saw a bald eagle in the area too. It’s a peaceful and quiet place to walk and relax at

It's like a hidden treasure that we just found. Very nice place, perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. So exhilarating and refreshing! I highly recommend this place for couples, friends and family who are looking to unwind after a long busy week. Worth the visit!!!

So much magic and memories to be had along with spiders galore. My oldest was not having any of the adventures. Kids still believe in magic and places like this help keep that magic alive. Wild and rich in history the grounds and surround preserves hold tons of little insta perfect pics. Get out side and stay safe it out they exploring. Japanese garden requires reservations. Lots of Paved trails but steep rolling hills, a jogging strollers a must.

Fabyan Villa has beautiful grounds to explore. The preserve runs along Fox River with nice paved trail on both sides of river. Some shaded spots for hot days. Bathrooms are open and there are some picnic areas. Room to socially distance, but did notice 99% of people there were not wearing masks. Paths are wide enough to maintain distance. Beautiful wild flowers and plenty of benches to stop and enjoy the serenity around you.
