I've worked here as a teacher assistant for professors. The small amount of money used here does wonders for a dedicated staff during turbulent times with govt. It is only open to the public during certain times of the year but beware... Clouds may float in and your chance to see the heavens up close and personal will be gone. I highly recommend coming while Skies are clear!!!

Amazing place to experience the wonders of the night sky! Only open to the public on public observing nights hosted by Missouri State University.
Scopes were a little smaller than expected, but the students and profs. did a wonderful job with the event!
Baker's Observatory is a great place to go observe the night sky learn many things you never know great atmosphere fun for all ages
This is a great night out for the family or just you and your mate
So knowledgeable and friendly
Went at an open house, friendly people, with a chance to look through the big scopes. If you're interested in astronomy at all, it's worth the trip.
