Decent selection of perishable and non-perishable goods. The culinary is pretty good, but you must ask about freshness. On several occasions, I've purchased products that were near or past expiration and there was no way to know because these are hand prepared goods laying out on display. The staff at the deli counter is sometimes ok, but most of that staff seems irritated and miserable more often than not. That's not my problem, but when dealing with the staff, they often give off an attitude that's completely unnecessary in that type of transaction. Just give me my cold cuts and you can go back to hating your life!

4 stars because their prices are rather high but their service is great! The cashier lady tonight was nice and packed my products with care. This is weird for me because growing up in Brooklyn respect was hard to find in the Russian communities. And where I there is only one Russian store and is always out of the way. So this is convenient going home from work even if I have to take two trains back. Hope the food is just as good as the service.

I wouldn't recommend this place. These are my reasons: 1. What good is a mask policy, if you let people slide it under their nose? The mask goes over your nose. I saw plenty of people with their mask under their nose, which of course is a bit of a hazard. 2. They didn't accept credit due their "minimum". They said they have a 10 dollar minimum. They do accept debit though, and gladly let you use it, as long as you enter your pin number on their 1980s credit card machine. When I say 1980s, they don't have a chip, you have to slide it. I will be reviewing my bank statements to make sure my pin wasn't skimmed fradulently. 3. 6.00 for a dozen eggs. Give or take, they were organic, but not sure of the quality. 4. Attitude. The people inside there looked like they didn't want to be there. I will not be coming back here.

Love, love, love this store! Anytime I am around Fair Lawn, I always stop here to get all of their fresh foods! Best borsh out of any of the Russian stores in the Tri-state area. Delicious cirniki, blinchiki with cherries, meat, cottage cheese. Pilof, cabbage, shashlik...anything you want. Teas, chocolates, cookies, sour cabbage, fresh baked bread, an amazing deli with cheeses and kielbasas for everyone's taste. And..Soviet style Ice Cream! Love this place!

Apart from some other "Russian" ethnic stores this one seem to have everything available. Not only the groceries but semi and fully cooked items. Nice selection. Clean and friendly.
