An incredible experience at the Howling Dog Saloon on a Saturday night at the beginning of August. Great drinks and service all round. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. Ralph the owner can only be described as an absolute legend! Live music that night was awesome too. A highly recommended destination if you're looking for a drink, bite to eat, live music, a game of pool, or just wanting to experience the rich heritage of the saloon and area.

If you're visiting Fairbanks during the warmer months, it's absolutely worth the few minutes drive out of town. Wildly fun live music and a diverse crowd that gets along well. Check it out!
The Howling Dog Saloon is by far my favorite place to go for live music and dancing in the Fairbanks Alaska area. The inside of the Saloon is decorated really fun with lots of great vintage classic rock memorabilia. The dance floor is a ton of fun! The outdoor area has horseshoe pits and cornhole. I was lucky enough to be there for the spring opening night. I recommend anyone visiting the Fairbanks area take a drive out to the Howling Dog in Fox, Alaska.
