I would NOT RECOMMEND using Amerigas for your propane needs. They do not answer their phones and the wait times have been over an hour to an hour and a half before you finally hang up. You cannot get a eal person\ to speak with about billing (which there is a discrepancy on our bill) and now our delivery that was placed on December 1st is STILL NOT HERE! It's the 13th! They are not acting in a professional manner and we plan to take our business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

Very disappointed with this company. we were with a small local gas company until corbin bought them out. They are crooks. You call about your gas being low and they insist that someone has to come check for leaks (an additional 39.95) in addition to a charge because you call for gas instead of ordering on the web (another 9.00 charge.) Now amerigas has bought them out and they continue to send me bills for tanks that I have not owned for 4 years.
Do not do business with these people. You Will regret it.
Horrible. We canceled our contract with this company after they raised our rates THREE times in THREE weeks! We gave them the opportunity to match a competitor; two weeks actually, and never heard back so we proceeded with the switched. They sent their driver to pick up the tanks. He did not come and check in with anyone to let us know he was here and so we could make sure he picked up all of their containers. Also, that same day that he comes to pick up our tanks, 10 of the new tanks are missing. Of course we call to let them know we think they may have accidentally took some tanks that were not Heritage and our salesman John Byrd was extremely rude. He asked how did we know, did we take pictures, did we see him and brought up that we just canceled our contract after he said he was going to try and match the price. Obviously he was mad about losing an account, all of this with attitude. Of course we don't have pictures, the driver didn't even tell us he was here!! The driver, I believe his name is Bruce, also called and said he hadn't picked up any that were not Heritage. They wouldn't even check. The lack of professionalism, courtesy and customer service is evident. If our salesman really wanted to keep us as an account he would have gotten back with us in days and not taken weeks. If he wanted us to keep them in mind should we have a need to switch again he would have handled the situation with respect and at least double checked the tanks instead of just denying it right off hand. Everyone makes mistakes, it's human nature. It's how you handle those mistakes that shows what kind of person you are and what kind of business you conduct. Going to a property and not letting anyone know you are there is completely unprofessional.
