Delicious deli a little off the main path in the Mosaic district. I've been a few times, sandwiches are always good. But, my last visit I cam around 9:00 p.m. with my boyfriend. I ordered the salmon salad because I wanted to be "good" and not eat anything heavy. I was ready to be disappointed but it was the most delicious salmon salad! The salmon was grilled to perfection - perfectly seasoned on the outside and medium rare on the inside, so tender. Then, there was a creamy dill dressing over romaine lettuce. Such a delight. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My boyfriend had the Half Street with tender pastrami and corned beef. A side of fries completed our meal - some of the best fries around! For the two of us with tip it was about 43.00. It's about a block or two down from the main activity in the Mosaic district and that's okay with me.

Great little spot for lunch. Their lunch special is a great bargain and such high quality. The owners are very friendly and the food is delicious. Also a good spot to grab a drink. Never too crowded so it's a nice change from the other crazy spots in Mosaic!

I got the Half Street sandwich and we shared a Reuben Fries with the table. Also ordered a Pomegranate-Ginger Soda which was very refreshing. Everything we had was very delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant reminded me of a modern diner with comfy booths. Would definitely come back!

Came here a week ago for brunch. Got the pastrami (which is a great bacon substitute) and the Salmon Benedict. The Salmon was fresh and delicious and the eggs were poached just right - not overcooked which I see often when I order Benedict. Hollandaise sauce was creamy and complemented the dish perfectly. I also drank a bloody Mary which was spicy but not too spicy. Bartender (Jeff) was nice and attentive. The Flyers game was on TV and I could tell he was fan. But hey, no one's perfect. Great place, will definitely come back.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Filling, too. The pickle spear almost tasted as if it were soaking in wine. Seems strange, but it tasted great! Also, the bags of chips are actually full. Great place for lunch with a friend.

Really good spot. It'd be five stars if the prices weren't so high. A fifteen dollar hamburger without the cheese lol. Cheese is extra. It was delicious just wont be able to afford a 18 dollar lunch everyday (burgertip).

Pleasant place. But although Reuben sandwich looked great, it had zero flavor. Not the pastrami, not the sauerkraut, not the dressing, not the bread. I walked out feeling like I had eaten many calories that had no taste.

Best pastrami sandwich ever!! Service in DGS is great and is only surpassed by the quality of its food. We love the classic sandwiches and also the potato latkes, but have tried a great grilled salmon salad as well as the giro. This is honestly a luxury deli.
