Open for events with social distancing and reduced food choices as a result, but the food vendors were cheerful and helpful with choices. Event staff were very courteous at ticket check and those inside suggested best way to get to our seats.
Located in the heart of Northern Virginia, the arena is always busy with graduation and concerts. Easily accessible and plenty of parking. Acoustics is great. We attended a concert where the sound was superb. There are food vendors as well. It can accommodate thousands and thousands of visitors. A big problem is the premier seats, actually metal folding chairs, which require tackling at least two dozen stairs from the gate. Choose the gallery seating near the doors if you have issues.
Went to see basketball game and I was surprised for the good ambiance and behavior of the crowd. Overall great experienced with kids coming along. It was now crowded, very clean, vendors in great attitude and very easy to come in and out. Husband was bummed because of the no beer policy, but yes that's the rules and we did have a good time.
No eagles and no bank... Good spot to watch a basketball game tho.
