The best ever lamb and chicken kabob I had ever tested and ate so far in Virginia. I would truly and highly recommend this place.

Tried this Uyghur restaurant today and was surprised by how delicious and fresh everything was. There wasn't anything that we ordered that was not tasty. The dumpling soup, the manta dumplings and the noodles were fantastic. Great service, I'll definitely make a trip back.

So I left a 3 star review for following reasons. I ordered uyghur salad, dapanchi, and Eerkin's special lamb shank. Now I loved their taste and it is not bad at all. Lamb was cooked so well that meat comes off so easily and very comfortable to eat it with it being savory. Dapanchi had great chicken with very good consistency when they cooked it. Salad was okay but felt like a rabbit food than a salad to me. They should include rice with each main dish or salad just like many restaurants do.. The main reason is that they made all these food with minimal ingredients to get it there but I didn't feel like it was valuable nor worth the money that they charge it. I still paid it so that I could try it but they weren't worth the price range they are charging at. If you don't mind and really crave uyghur style food then I would say try them but don't expect a lot. Lower your expectations.

I finally got to try this place. It reminds me of delicious home-cooked meals. Fantastic to try for anyone interested in Uyghur cuisine.

Delicious appetizers known as samsas. My girlfriend and I were in Xian and we had these meat sandwiches. These were sold in the Uyghur district of China. They were good, and the samsas reminded me a bit of the meat sandwiches, and my girlfriend liked them. The food was good, and unique. Great little find in Fairfax
