A decent restaurant on Fairfax Blvd serving high quality Chinese food. Besides delicious dishes and exquisitely decorated they deliver food really fast. A high recommendation for anyone in mood for eastern cuisines.

My husband and I tried this place last week, and really really liked it. The decor and ambient is great! they have a great variety of dishes with unique flavor; the staff is friendly, although its hard to understand them at times. I will definitely recommend this place if you are up to trying something new.
The environment is clean and food is not bad. It was supposed to be a pleasant lunch experience but everything broke down at the end. I left 10% tips on table. The waitress stopped us from leaving and said for lunch at least 15% gratuities is required. It seemed that I stole their money. I never understand how "tips" can be "required". I actually don't mind to throw in 1 dollar or two (if that makes them happy), but they've got the attitude that I am not comfortable with. I will not go back.
I would give this HORRID place a 0 out 5 if I could. 1st off the manager or owner has a BAD attitude. I ordered my food and did not like it, because it tasted badly, so I kindly asked for a refund and he gave me this whole lecture like I was his child saying that I was 'wasting his food' and all this other stuff. I will not return due to the food being disgusting and the customer service being very poor.
I went to use their VIP room for bday dinner. I left a 20% tip for pre-tax amount totaling 396.07 guess what they decided to add another 20 to the bill thinking we never check. The service was good when I went the food is good. BUT IF YOU ARE DISHONEST I DON'T TRUST YOU WITH MY FOOD!! Please check your credit card bill and your credit card statement! BEWARE!
Got into the restaurant at 12:30pm. Waited 15mins and no one came to take out order. Finally asked someone and a guy who looks like the owner came and took the order. He was kind of rude. We then see him yell at someone in the kitchen. He then walks around all angry and pissed off. I came to have an enjoyable mothers day lunch and am watching this guy vent his frustration. Between, its been 30mins since I placed my order and my food is no where here. Sigh!! If the food is good, I will order food to go in the future.
My husband and I went to Hunan Taste for dinner. Before we wandered inside, we were spoke with another woman coming out of the Firenza restaurant next door. She told us how much she loved Firenza. She went on to say that she went to Hunan for a special occasion, but really was upset at the quality of food after dining(things were undercooked/overcooked). She said that the her party was divided as to whether they liked it or not. We decided to go in anyway. Now, I don't know if Hunan Taste only specializes in traditional dishes but since we were in a time crunch we didn't really have time to figure out what new dish to try. We ordered something really simple since we were with our toddler - Shrimp Lo Mein, Shrimp Egg Rolls, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The food came out in really large portions. We probably could have all 3 shared the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The egg rolls were good. The entrees both left something to be desired. I consider these to be basic dishes that should still contain at least a little bit of flavor. They were both bland. Typically, I give management an opportunity to make it right but once again we were on a time crunch and literally just tried to run out of the restaurant since we were so irked. Service was quick and good. Our dishes were not great. Will likely not be going back.
Authentic Chinese food here. Not undercooked or overcooked. Delicious.
