My son has been at Huntington Learning Center of Fairfax for over 1 year now and since then he has improved his reading, writing and math skills. He recently achieved at 6th grade level score on the FCPS reading and math SOL tests. I will continue my son with his tutoring in hopes that he will surpass even his grade level. We have been with Huntington for nearly 2 years now...and have utilized their services for study skill enhancement, individual subject tutoring, and ACT prep. My high schooler struggled just to make C's & B-'s before going to them. They were able to fully assess her academic weaknesses and worked hard with her to help strengthen them. Her confidence level has sky-rocketed and she is now excelling in all of her classes ..with straight A's and B's! And she also just aced her recent ACT!!! Words cannot even begin to express how much we appreciate all that the amazing staff at Huntington has done for her! Thank you!!!

We have had a really great experience with The Huntington Learning Center in Fairfax City! Andy and Marissa have been wonderful. Our children have gone to Kumon and Mathnasium over the years, and this has been the most positive tutoring experience by far. Our teenage son has felt very safe going to this location, even during the pandemic. He says he likes the instructors and he really likes the idea of being able to get tutoring for his school work as well as SAT prep sessions. He likes how students are able to focus because the facility has separate rooms for students. (They offer online sessions as well but my son knows that he learns better with in person instruction. In person, they have plexiglass barriers and wear masks.) He said that he likes being on a regular schedule rather than just going when he “thinks” he needs extra help. ...The fact that he never complained about going to the sessions makes me realize what a good quality program they have in Fairfax! Andy really takes the time to focus on individual students and their progress, always focusing on specific next steps. I am thankful for their kindness and flexibility as far as scheduling, as well as for their attention to our concerns. Our son has made incredible gains on the SAT and I know that Fairfax Huntington’s individualized program had a lot to do with that. I am so glad that this support is available for our son, especially this year when so much learning is being done virtually. I highly recommend this tutoring/SAT preparation location.
