As much as I wanted a divorce I was hesitant to approach an attorney, mostly in fear that it would be prohibitively expensive. And I was intimidated by the unknowns of the process. One of the first steps I took was to ask my estate planning attorney for a referral. She highly recommended Kales and Kales. Before my first meeting with Jonathan Kales I reviewed their website, which described their flexible options for navigating a divorce. I went into the first meeting with high confidence that I had found the right firm. We had two introductory meetings where I learned about the process and where I got answers regarding my specific situation. If I had been more prepared, we could have accomplished everything in one meeting. Jonathan and Amy led me through all the steps as we came to each one.
